Author Guidelines

These are the guidelines outlining the criteria that writers need to meet when submitting the manuscripts to the journal. Any manuscript should adhere to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition). It involves special formatting features, like a title page without author identifiers, an abstract, a list of keywords, well-formated headings, in-text references, tables, figures, and a reference list. Word counts do not include title page, references, tables and figures. It is recommended that prospective authors consult the current issues and Aims and Scope of the journal to understand which type of studies are most commonly published, and to understand the criteria that are used in the journal process of double-blind peer-reviewing.

The journal takes various types of manuscript: full Research Articles utilizing either quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods; concise Research in Brief papers that report empirical findings; and Review Articles.

Research Articles widely vary between 4,500 and 7,000 words and are expected to contain methodologically sound studies that have a well-defined and original contribution in line with the mission of the journal. Manuscripts must be submitted in a blinded form in a single file and in .doc format with the title page, abstract, main text and references. Papers should be in one-space format with 12-point times New Roman font and one-inch margins. Any personal information, such as recognitions or self-credit that indicates the author, should be removed. Tables and figures must be incorporated in the text and used accordingly.

At metadata entry, the authors will include the title of the manuscript, an abstract of 100250 words, and complete author details including institutional affiliation, country, and short biographical text. One of the authors must be assigned the corresponding author. To be indexed and searchable, five to eight keywords need to be provided. The entire reference list should also be copied over into the online References field and there all citations should be made in APA format and all sources referred to in the list and the other way round.

Authors will get a tracking information email after submission. Manuscripts can also be sent through email to admin@universityedu.org. The journal supports authors who might need extra support to consider editing their language before submitting.

Reviewers access the manuscripts on the basis of significance, properness of the literature review and conceptual framing, methodological rigor, readability of discussion and implication, and editorial compliance to APA style, and scholarly writing norms.
