Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

These guidelines outline the expectations for authors preparing manuscripts for the journal. All submissions must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th edition). This includes formatting elements such as a title page without author identifiers, an abstract, keywords, properly styled headings, in-text citations, tables, figures, and a reference list. Word limits exclude the title page, references, tables, and figures. Prospective authors are encouraged to read recent issues and consult the journal’s Aims and Scope to understand the types of studies typically published. It is also useful to review the criteria used in the journal’s double-blind peer review process.

The journal accepts several manuscript types: full Research Articles using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods; concise Research in Brief papers reporting empirical findings; and Review Articles.

Research Articles, generally 4,500 to 7,000 words, should present methodologically sound studies that make a clear and original contribution aligned with the journal’s mission. Authors should upload a blinded manuscript in .doc format. This document must include the title page, abstract, main text, and references in a single file. Submissions must be single spaced, use 12-point Times New Roman, and maintain one-inch margins. All identifying details, including acknowledgements or self-citations that reveal authorship, should be removed. Tables and Figures should be inside the manuscript and must be referred accordingly intext.

During metadata entry, authors will provide the manuscript title, an abstract of 100–250 words, and complete author information including institutional affiliation, country, and a brief biographical statement. One author should be designated as the corresponding author. Five to eight keywords must be supplied to aid indexing and searchability. The full reference list must also be pasted into the online References field, ensuring that all citations follow APA style and that every source cited appears in the list and vice versa.

After submitting, authors will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Authors can also submit via email: admin@universityedu.org

The journal also encourages authors who need additional support to consider language editing before submission.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on significance, quality of literature review and conceptual framing, methodological rigor, clarity of discussion and implications, and adherence to APA style and scholarly writing standards.
